Frythens Cottages, self catering holiday cottages near Hayle and Marazion, Cornwall

Here are some of our recent reviews:

"You will not be disappointed with this property, it is in immaculate condition, we have always been welcomed with milk in the fridge and cakes in the tin, after a long drive that's special.
Set in its own private land it is so peaceful, after a long day exploring or surfing the private garden is perfect for relaxing with lovely views across the countryside.
Mel is always on hand if you need anything, but you won't it's a home from home, most definitely returning."

"Lovely stay, the house was so clean and tidy, felt right at home straight away. Melanie was very helpful with recommendations of things to do or places for food.
Location is great, we’ve been to Cornwall a few times but not this far south, everything was so close for north and south activities (coast to coast was 8-10minutes either side) can’t recommend this place enough!"

"A perfect home from home!
The cottage is light, spacious, and super comfortable. The new fence around the garden area is a great addition!
It's in a perfect location for getting out and about, just 5 mins from the A30 and the park & ride to St Ives, yet so peaceful and quiet.
Melanie is a fantastic host, on hand to offer suggestions for places to visit, and is quick to respond to messages. We've recommended the cottage to friends and family, and are already planning a return visit."

"This is our third stay at Melanie’s place. The location is peaceful and rural, yet still within driving distance to many areas. The house is spotless and Melanie is an excellent host. We would definitely highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to stay in Cornwall. We have stayed in quite a few over the years but this is by far the best!"

 Rachelle, July'23

"Absolutely stunning! The views were spectacular and the sunny weather made it perfect. The photos are beautiful but they really don’t do the property justice at all, it’s so well kept and such a special place. We have already booked to go back next year.
It’s also only 10-15 mins drive into St Ives so lovely to get back to the tranquility of the countryside after busy beach days."

Cheryl, June'23

"We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The property was spotlessly clean, well equiped and comfy. It's in a great location with plenty to do and see nearby.
We would highly recommend a stay here. "

"This is 100% one of the best available, clean, homely and beautiful location. Well equipped and lovely decor. Melanie communicated really fast each time . Whole heartedly would recommend this accommodation"

Julian, February'24

"Tilly's house is absolutely beautiful and a perfect, quiet base for exploring the Lands End peninsula, being only a few minutes off the A30. Exactly as depicted. I was very cosy and had everything I needed. I spent days out exploring, but had a nice relaxing space and cosy comfortable bed to return to. I will definitely come back xxx"

Melanie saved our holiday! We booked another air bnb originally and it was not suitable! Last minute Melanie offered us a place to stay and it was perfect! Lovely and clean and perfect location! The dog was definitely in her element with the surrounding fields to run around on! We can’t thank Melanie enough for saving the day and allowing us to finally relax and enjoy ourselves with our baby on his first holiday! Melanie is also a woman after my own heart with all the cleaning products available to keep the place lovely and clean during the stay! Thank you!
